Martie Medlock Spaulding, the older sister of Michelle Medlock Adams, is a professional interior designer and a powerful teacher of God's Word.
Martie has always had a flair for design. Even before she attended Purdue University to study Interior Design, she was decorating for friends and family. Since her college days, Martie has worked for several successful furniture stores as a salesman and as a design consultant. Since 1987, she has successfully run her own decorating business, Designs By Martie, decorating commercial and private properties. Over the course of her career, she has decorated hospitals, upscale boutiques, restaurants and churches. She has also worked hand-in-hand with her husband, Jan Spaulding, who is a gifted builder, decorating $100,000 to $600,000 homes. She has even decorated celebrity homes including the Indiana residence of former Indiana University Men's Basketball Coach Bob Knight, now the coach of Texas Tech.
Martie and her family moved to Texas in 1998, and she began working as the special events coordinator for Eagle Mountain International Church/Kenneth Copeland Ministries. During her years in that position, she was also in charge of print and design for the church. Later, she supervised both KCM book and gift stores and used her interior design skills on a daily basis before being promoted to a supervisory position.
In 2004, Martie and Jan were ordained in the ministry by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland during a special ceremony at Eagle Mountain International Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Today, she and her husband pastor Stonegate Faith Center in Lawrence County, IN, where she teaches a Tuesday morning Ladies' Bible Study and shares the pulpit with her husband. Her passion is to teach people who they are in Christ Jesus so they can walk in daily victory.
