Best-selling author Michelle Medlock Adams has teamed up with illustrator Paige Snedeker to create this charming picture book that explores the special bond between a daughter and her daddy as they spend time together at the county fair.
You’re sure to love Paige’s unique way of illustrating! Paige has a rare neuromuscular disorder called Riboflavin Transporter Deficiency Type2 (RTD) that has caused her to be deaf, legally blind, confined to a wheelchair, and dependent on breathing assistance. But that doesn’t keep Paige from doing what she loves! She’s learned to illustrate with her mouth using various mediums and tools. For this book, Paige used a technique called ‘mouth painting,’ using stencils, textured paper and collages.
All proceeds of this book go to charity, specifically to a foundation called Cure RTD, which is focused on researching and curing RTD.
