An engaging introduction to the true meaning of Christmas. Michelle Medlock Adams' warm, humorous text lists all of the things that Christmas might be about, only to conclude that it is truly about celebrating the birth of Jesus, our Savior. Through the whimsical art and rhyming, fun-to-read verse, even the youngest child will come to understand what Christmas is.

We love this story for our 3 year old. It brings all the Christmas traditions he sees around him (Santa, baking, Christmas tree, carols, etc) and makes it clear that those things are nice, but Jesus is the real reason we celebrate Christmas day. Great conversation starter!

The book is a sweet way to keep the true meaning of Christmas in children's minds. It's colorful, very durable (board), and uses fun illustrations that aren't babyish.
